HIGHER. FURTHER. FASTER. TOGETHER.

The paths of three heroes collide in powerful and confusing ways: Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), who’s hanging out in space, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), who’s working with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), a teenager who’s in awe of the other two.

A sequel to Captain Marvel (2019) that tries hard to have a more diverse appeal than many other Marvel flicks, but forgets a few basic things. A compelling superhero movie needs memorable action and a story and stakes that make sense.

Still, the cast offer moments of charm and humor.
