A major hurricane causes a storm surge that floods a South Carolina small town, attracting bull sharks and Nellie, a huge great white.

With Tommy Wirkola behind the camera, the results are silly and enjoyable as we follow a group of people who should have listened to the evacuation orders; some deserve to get eaten more than others.

The shark attacks are far from inventive, the cast merely OK and the effects barely watchable… but it’s the kind of schlocky set-up that’s hard to resist.
