THERE IS NO PLAN B.

As U.S. forces are preparing to leave Iraq after the war, a team of rowdy Army Rangers led by Colonel “Hannibal” Smith (Liam Neeson) are given a clandestine mission that turns out to be a trap.

The big-screen adaptation of the 1983-1987 TV series introduces a new cast that enthusiastically embody the familiar characters; Neeson and Bradley Cooper are particularly satisfying. The movie offers good-natured popcorn entertainment and never turns too dumb or mean-spirited.

The action is so unbelievable at times that some scenes, for good and bad, could not have been made outside of a computer.
