BACK FOR WAR.

Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) and his ace team of mercenaries try to retrieve a case from a safe that was onboard a plane that went down in Albania.

In this sequel, where CGI blood spatter is as frequent as silly oneliners (Arnie even gets to serve up two variants of “I’ll be back”), there’s still fun to be had from watching these old warriors blow things up.

Jean-Claude Van Damme is an apt villain, but as in the original there’s too many lulls and even though the movie tries to be funnier none of the jokes actually are.
