A WHITE-HOT JUGGERNAUT AT 200 MILES PER HOUR!
A retired stuntman (Kurt Russell) drives around the South in his old ”death-proof” car and tries to charm women… but is it possible to survive a ride with him?
The second part of the Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez experiment Grindhouse certainly looks like one of those old exploitation flicks that the director admires, right up to the scratched film look. Lovingly put together, but the difference may lie in the cast; these actors are a lot better than those in the original movies, not least Russell as the psychopathic stuntman.
Very amusing, but should have been a half hour shorter.
