HE’S DYING TO SAVE MANKIND.
In 2050, Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson) volunteers for an expedition to an ice planet, serving as an ”expendable”; whenever he’s killed during the job, he can simply be printed as a new clone.
Bong Joon-ho followed up on the tremendous success of Parasite (2019), with an intriguing but disappointing sci-fi film where fans of his will recognize both monsters and social themes.
Less engaging than Okja (2017) though, in spite of Pattinson’s two Mickeys and Mark Ruffalo’s Trumpian tycoon.
