EVERYTHING THAT HAS A BEGINNING HAS AN END.

The concluding chapter of the Matrix trilogy makes you realize that the whole concept of the Matrix has now become so convoluted that there’s basically nothing left here to engage our emotions.

At least we have two grand set pieces surrounding the duller parts. The first one portrays mankind’s brave defense of Zion against the fierce sentinels that are invading the city; the second one shows Neo’s (Keanu Reeves) rainy showdown with Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving).

It’s all very impressive visually but the genuine thrills are few; too much time goes to pretentious talk.
